1. About Poster Net

Poster Net lets you personalize ready-made poster designs with your photograph, name and tagline, and download, save or share them. It is a personal poster-making tool, not a social network.

2. Who Can Use Poster Net

You must be 18 or older. By using Poster Net, you confirm that you are. We will delete any account we learn belongs to someone under 18.

3. Your Account

3.1 You sign in with your mobile number and an OTP. You may have only one account, for a number you own or are authorized to use.

3.2 Give accurate information. Do not use someone else's name or number, or pretend to be someone else.

3.3 You are responsible for everything done through your account. Never share your OTP. Poster Net will never ask for it.

3.4 If you think someone else has accessed your account, contact us immediately at posternet.in@gmail.com.

4. The Service

4.1 Poster Net is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you the price and terms first. You will never be charged without your clear agreement.

4.2 We may add, change or remove posters, categories or features at any time. We do not guarantee that any particular poster or feature will remain available.

5. Your Content

5.1 "Your Content" means the photographs, name, tagline and other text you add.

5.2 You keep ownership of Your Content.

5.3 You allow Poster Net to store, process and display Your Content only to provide the Service to you. That includes:

• placing it on posters
• removing photo backgrounds when you ask
• storing your posters

We do not use Your Content for advertising and do not sell it. This permission ends when you delete Your Content or your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5.4 You confirm that:

• any photograph you upload is of yourself, or you have the permission of the person in it
• you have the right to use the name and text you enter
• Your Content does not break any law or anyone's rights

5.5 You are fully responsible for Your Content and for the posters you create and share.

6. Rules of Use

You must not use Poster Net to create, download or share anything that:

• Uses someone else's photograph, name or identity without permission, or impersonates any person, party, candidate, official or government body
• Is false, misleading or defamatory
• Promotes hatred, violence or discrimination based on religion, caste, community, gender, language or region
• Insults religious beliefs, or misuses images of gods, saints or religious symbols
• Is obscene or sexually explicit, or harms children in any way
• Harasses, threatens or bullies anyone
• Spreads rumours, misinformation or fake news
• Infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights
• Promotes illegal activity, gambling, drugs, weapons or fraud
• Threatens the unity, security or public order of India
• Violates any election law, the Model Code of Conduct, or any order of the Election Commission of India

You also must not:

• copy, resell or bulk-download our poster designs, or use them to build a competing service
• use our posters for commercial advertising or resale without our written permission
• hack, overload or interfere with the app or servers, or try to access other users' data
• use bots or automated tools
• get around any restriction we place on your account

7. Political Posters

7.1 Political posters let you show your personal support for a party or cause.

7.2 Poster Net is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any political party, candidate or government body. The presence of a party's posters does not mean that party endorses Poster Net, you, or any poster you make.

7.3 You must not:

• present a poster as an official poster, statement or endorsement of any party, candidate or leader
• use a poster to make false claims about any party, candidate, leader or election
• use another person's photograph to suggest they support a party or candidate without their permission
• use posters in any way that violates election law, the Model Code of Conduct, or election advertising and expenditure rules

7.4 You are solely responsible for how you use and share political posters. If you are a candidate, party worker or campaign volunteer, election rules may apply to you, and following them is your responsibility.

7.5 We may change, restrict or remove political posters at any time, including during elections or when required by any authority.

8. Our Content

8.1 The Poster Net app, name, logo, website and poster designs ("Our Content") belong to Poster Net or are used with permission.

8.2 Party names, symbols and logos, images of public figures, and other third-party marks belong to their respective owners. They are shown only for identification and personal expression.

8.3 You may use Our Content inside Poster Net, and download and share posters you personalize, for your own personal, non-commercial use only.

8.4 If you believe any content in Poster Net infringes your rights, contact our Grievance Officer (Section 12).

9. Sharing to Other Apps

When you share a poster through another app, it leaves Poster Net, and that app's terms apply. You are responsible for where and with whom you share posters. A shared poster shows your photograph, name and tagline to everyone who receives it.

10. Notifications

If you allow notifications, we may send you notifications about new posters, festivals, offers and service updates. You can turn them off in your device settings.

11. How We Enforce These Terms

11.1 If you break these Terms or the law, we may:

• remove or block content
• warn you, or restrict your account
• suspend or permanently close your account

11.2 We may report content or activity to the police or other authorities when the law requires it, or when someone's safety is at risk.

11.3 If you think we acted against your account by mistake, contact us and we will review the decision.

12. Complaints and Grievance Officer

For any complaint about Poster Net, its content, or your account:

Please describe the issue and include screenshots or details where possible.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month. Complaints about content that shows a person in an intimate or sexual way without their consent, or that impersonates them, will be acted on within 24 hours.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy, available in this app under Settings, explains how we handle your information. It forms part of these Terms.

14. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings > Account Management > Delete Account.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Posters you have already downloaded or shared remain wherever you saved or sent them.

15. Disclaimers

15.1 Poster Net is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted.

15.2 Automated features such as Background Eraser may not always produce perfect results.

15.3 Poster content, such as festival dates, quotes and wishes, is for general personal use. We do not guarantee it is complete or accurate.

16. Limitation of Liability

16.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poster Net and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of data, reputation or opportunity, arising from your use of the Service.

16.2 We are not responsible for:

• content you create or share, or how others react to it
• what other apps or people do with posters you share
• losses caused by your own breach of these Terms

16.3 Because Poster Net is free, our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service is limited to ₹1,000, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

16.4 Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

17. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Poster Net and the people who run it for any claims, losses, penalties or legal costs that arise because:

• you broke these Terms or the law
• Your Content infringed someone's rights
• of how you used or shared posters, including political posters

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. For significant changes, we will notify you in the app and ask you to accept the new Terms before you continue. If you don't agree, you can stop using Poster Net and delete your account. The latest version is always available in this screen.

19. Ending These Terms

You can stop using Poster Net and delete your account at any time. We may close your account as described in Section 11, or if we stop offering the Service. Sections 5.5, 6, 7.4, 8, 15, 16, 17 and 20 continue to apply after your account is closed.

20. Governing Law and Disputes

20.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

20.2 Before taking legal action, please contact us at posternet.in@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the issue. We will make a genuine effort to resolve it within 30 days.

20.3 Subject to that, the courts at Mysuru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these Terms or the Service.

21. General

21.1 If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.

21.2 If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.

21.3 You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example if Poster Net becomes a registered business, and we will tell you if that happens.

21.4 These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Poster Net about the Service.
